About the Show
SYNOPSIS:
In the madcap comedy tradition of Lend me a Tenor, the hilarious Moon Over Buffalo centers on George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars of the 1950's. At the moment, they’re playing Private Lives and Cyrano De Bergerac in rep in Buffalo, New York with 5 actors. On the brink of a disastrous split-up caused by George’s dalliance with a young ingénue, they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom: Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee, and if likes what he sees, he might cast them in his movie remake of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Unfortunately for George and Charlotte, everything that could go wrong does go wrong, abetted by a visit from their daughter’s clueless fiancé and hilarious uncertainty about which play they’re actually performing, caused by Charlotte’s deaf old stage-manager mother who hates every bone in George’s body.

About the Actors and Designers
KEN LUDWIG (Playwright) has had 6 shows on Broadway and 7 in London’s West End, and his plays and musicals have been performed in more than 30 countries in over 20 languages. His first play on Broadway, Lend Me A Tenor, which the Washington Post called "one of the classic comedies of the 20th century,” won two Tony Awards and was nominated for seven. He has also won two Laurence Olivier Awards (England’s highest theater honor), the Charles MacArthur Award, two Helen Hayes Awards, the Edgar Award for Best Mystery from The Mystery Writers of America, the SETC Distinguished Career Award, and the Edwin Forrest Award for Services to the American Theatre. His plays have been commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Bristol Old Vic. He has written 22 plays and musicals, including Crazy For You (5 years on Broadway and the West End, Tony and Olivier Award Winner for Best Musical), Moon Over Buffalo (Broadway and West End), The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (Broadway), Treasure Island (West End), Twentieth Century (Broadway), Leading Ladies, Shakespeare in Hollywood, The Game’s Afoot, The Fox on the Fairway, The Three Musketeers and The Beaux’ Stratagem. His most recent plays include Baskerville, A Comedy of Tenors, and Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol (2015 Helen Hayes Award nominee for Outstanding Play).His newest book, How To Teach Your Children Shakespeare, (winner of the Falstaff Award for Best Shakespeare Book of 2014) is published by Random House. His plays have starred Alec Baldwin, Carol Burnett, Lynn Redgrave, Mickey Rooney, Hal Holbrook, Dixie Carter, Tony Shalhoub, Anne Heche, Joan Collins, and Kristin Bell. His work is published by the Yale Review, and he is a Sallie B. Goodman Fellow of the McCarter Theatre, Princeton. COLEMAN RAY CLARK (George/Director/SetLighting Designer/NTT Artistic Director) returns to New Threshold Theatre after directing Into The Woods, ... All Greek Mythology In 99 Minutes Or Less, Charade, and Completely Hollywood: Abridged. Selective acting credits include It's A Wonderful Life, B:Side Myself (TheatreSquared); Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Bert in All My Sons, Boy in Into The Woods (University of Arkansas); the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, Jim in The Glass Menagerie, Oklahoma!, Ben in The Dumb Waiter (AR State Thespian All State Actor Award) (Fayetteville High School); Bert in Hairspray, Ponyboy in The Outsiders, A Separate Peace (Arts Live Theatre). Other director credits include Nothing is the End of the World: Except for the End of the World (AR State Thespian Director Award) (Fayetteville High School). Coleman is currently an intern with Theatre Squared and works as an assistant director and designer. LANDON CALHOUN (Paul/Director) is an Artistic Director at NTT alongside Coleman Clark. He is hitting the stage in his fifth NTT production after appearing in 13: The Musical as Archie and Charade as Peter Joshua, while assistant directing Completely Hollywood and directing the NTT Holiday Experiment. Other community credits include Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Fayetteville High School); Schwartz in A Christmas Story, Ensemble in The Music Man, Colin Craven in The Secret Garden, Ensemble in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Kurt von Trapp in The Sound of Music, The Artful Dodger in Oliver! (Rogers Little Theater); Charlie Bucket in Willly Wonka Jr, Tweedle Dum in Alice in Wonderland, Jr. (Stage One Entertainment); Weird Sisters, Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Grimsby in The Little Mermaid, Ascension Day, Jessie in Bridge to Terabithia, Tweedle Dum in Alice in Wonderland Jr. (Arts Live Theatre); Laertes in Hamlet, Oliver de Boys in As You Like It (Theatre Squared's Summer Drama Academy). He is 17 years old and a junior at Fayetteville High School.

MINAH SMITH-TUCKER (Charlotte Hay/Costume Designer) Minah returns to New Threshold Theatre where she has previous credits as Kennedy in Luminous as well as costume and props design for Completely Hollywood, costume design for Into The Woods, and makeup design for Luminous. She also works with the local company TheatreSquared where she recently assistant designed Superior Donuts. Minah is eighteen years old and a senior in high school.

ERIN FARRAH (Rosalind) makes her third New Threshold Theatre appearance, first seen in NTT's Into The Woods as the Baker's Wife. Other theatre credits include Sandrine in Almost, Maine, Olive in Nothing is the End of the World: Except for the End of the World, and a Du Wop Girl in Little Shop of Horrors (Fayetteville High School). She is eighteen years old, a senior at Fayetteville High School, and will be attending Drew University this coming fall for theatre.

ABIGAYLE LUTTRELL (Eileen) is sixteen years old and is a sophomore at Har-Ber High School in Springdale, Arkansas. She returns to NTT after first being seen in Into the Woods. In New York, she has appeared in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the NY Pops Spring Gala at Carnegie Hall (Camp Broadway). Community credits include Peter Pan, Hairspray, The Little Mermaid, Peggy the Pint-Sized Pirate, Honk!, The Jungle Book, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland (Arts Live Theatre); The Sound of Music, Cinderella, Go, Dog, Go!, If You Give A Mouse a Cookie, Miss Electricity, Annie, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, American Girl Fashion Show (Arts Center of the Ozarks); Captain Bree and her Lady Pirates, and Santa on Trial (Hellstern Middle School).

JONAH GREENE (Howard) makes his third appearance in a New Threshold Theatre production, following his roles in the NTT Holiday Experiment and as Salinger in Luminous. Community credits include Daniel Harding in Almost Maine, David Kolowitz in Enter Laughing, Danny in Nothing is the End of the World: Except the End of the World, and a puppeteer in Little Shop of Horrors (Fayetteville High School). Other community credits include the Doorknob in Alice in Wonderland Jr. and Lance Schroeder in House on Haunted Hill (Arts Live Theatre). He is seventeen years old and is a current junior at Fayetteville High School.

SARAH HIERHOLZER (Ethel) has been in several New Threshold Theatre productions including Into the Woods, and the NTT Holiday Experiement. She has also been seen in over fourteen productions at Arts Live Theatre, most recently as Prudy Pingleton in Hairspray. At Fayetteville High School Sarah was last seen as Esther in Nothing is the End of the World: Except for the End of the World. Television credits include writing and appearing as a repertory cast member on New Threshold Theatre's NTT Live. She is seventeen years old and will be attending Columbia College in August pursing a degree in Comedy Writing/Performance.

THOMAS GRIFFIN (Richard) started with New Threshold Theatre last season. Thomas' debut performance was in 13: The Musical. Other credits with NTT include Into The Woods, Luminous, and NTT Live. Thomas has performed in Dead Man Walking with Opera Fayetteville. Thomas has also performed in Oklahoma!, Our Town, Almost, Maine., Enter Laughing, and Little Shop of Horrors with Fayetteville High School Drama. Thomas is 18 years old and will be attending St. Olaf College in August pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance.

ANNA COOK (Assistant Stage Manager) makes her New Threshold Theatre debut. Community credits include Cinderella, The American Girl Fashion Show, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Arts Center of the Ozarks), and Musicals of the Decades (Har-Ber High School). She is sixteen years old and is a sophomore at Har-Ber High School.
MARY LARKIN FURLOW (Assitant Director/Stage Manager), is in her second production with New Threshold. Community credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Fayetteville High School), Into The Woods (NTT), Hairspray, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Willy Wonka, Annie (Arts Live Theatre). She is 16 and a sophomore at FHS.
